Maid of Honor
Abby and Robbyn have been friends since middle school. Despite going to different high schools, colleges, and living in different time zones currently, they have stayed friends and only gotten closer. Abby was at Robbyn's first concert with her, and many more after that including multiple years of ACL and SXSW. They’ve only ever been in one argument in all their years of friendship, and it was over the Oxford comma. Abby is reliable, hilarious, an amazing NYC tour guide, and music connoisseur. She is Robbyn's much cooler other half, and Robbyn can't imagine a life without Abby in it.
Matron of Honor
Tyler and Robbyn met as new members in their sorority Alpha Xi Delta. Tyler posted in the sorority group message that she had a corgi and that was all Robbyn needed to see to know they were destined to be good friends. Over the years, Robbyn has visited Tyler countless times in Midland, hosted Tyler in Dallas, and they've spent many hours talking on the phone in between visits. Ty and Robbyn are the type of friends who can sit around doing nothing and still have an amazing time. Robbyn is very lucky to have Tyler, and also very lucky to be known as Aunt Rob to Tyler’s sweet babies.
Bridesmaid
Sarah and Robbyn have also been best friends since middle school. They were both randomly put in a journalism class and immediately had a group project they had to do. Neither of them really knew anyone in the class so they became partners, and the rest is history! Since Sarah was a year older than Robbyn, she went off to high school first and convinced Robbyn to join her in color guard where they had many memorable experiences. Sarah has been one of the major constants in Robbyn's life, always there for her no matter how much time had passed between their hang outs. In high school, Robbyn's mom said "it's really you and Sarah vs. the world" and that is the most accurate way to describe their friendship.
Bridesmaid
Even though she's a few months older, Katie is Robbyn's little in her sorority! They still remember their first friend "date" sharing sonic mozzarella sticks and bonding instantly. One of the most special times in their friendship was when they were roommates for 6 months and had the best time. Not sure if Stephen, Katie's husband who was also there, would describe it as the "best time" but they definitely would. From gourmet meals made by Katie each night, to hanging out in a kiddie pool they bought for the patio, they had tons of fun being roomies, even if only for a short time. Katie is creative, smart, and caring, and comes up with amazing ideas for things to do while hanging out.
Bridesmaid
Kristen and Robbyn met at Texas Tech and both ended up in Dallas after graduation! They bonded at many heated Black Swan "yoga" classes that would typically end with a Flowerchild date after. From book clubs and workout classes, to trips to Mexico and Ashville, Robbyn is very thankful for all the memories made and time spent with Kristen these last few years. Kristen is the best type of person to have a conversation with because she genuinely cares about the details of whatever you're talking about and always wants to know more.
Bridesmaid
Robbyn met Mady through Nikki since they were coworkers! Robbyn and Mady's friendship was a slow burn but now she is one of Robbyn's closest friends. Mady is a cheerleader to all, she loves to celebrate others and is always equally (if not more) excited about your good news. She's also always down for a sushi dinner date where she and Robbyn will be talking until the restaurant closes. Mady, Nikki, and Robbyn were all engaged at the same time which made the experience even better!
Bridesmaid
Nikki and Robbyn met in college but their friendship really took off post grad in Dallas! Nikki is kind, SO smart, an amazing hostess, and beyond funny. Robbyn and Nikki really grew close while planning Kristen's bachelorette party. They made an incredible team with Nikki on logistics and Robbyn handling the "vibes". Nikki and Robbyn have enjoyed bachelor/ette watching parties, dinner dates, Kristen's many orchestra concerts, and game nights in. Robbyn is very grateful to have Nikki by her side to understand her SATC references and fangirl over Stevie Nicks together.
Bridesmaid
Robbyn was Lily's pledge mom in her sorority, and despite the age gap they still became close in college and have grown to be amazing friends. Lily keeps Robbyn young and is probably the only member of the bridal party with a labubu. Conveniently, Lily lived in Austin post grad so Robbyn could see her during holidays, but now thankfully she is in Dallas where they can have White Lotus watch parties, go on Katy Trail walks, and binge Secret Lives of Mormon Wives together anytime.
Bridesmaid
Allison is Robbyn's soon-to-be sister in law! This works out amazing for Robbyn who has always wanted a sister. Allison and Robbyn have gotten to know each other at Shabbat dinners and other family events. She is famously "Charlie and Teddy's mom" and is the queen of mahjong. Allison was one of the first family members Robbyn met and from day 1 she has been kind, friendly, and welcoming to Robbyn.
Bridesmaid
Alexus and Robbyn have been friends since high school, with one of their high school friends describing Robbyn as the creamer to Alexus' coffee. Lex is one of the funniest people Robbyn knows, and when they talk Robbyn is often in tears from the things Lex is saying. Not only is she funny, she is one of the realest friends you could ask for and has a way of humbling you in a very loving way.
Best Man
Shane’s brother and best friend. They didn’t always get along growing up so close in age, and Andrew is older, the better athlete, and has a better beard, but Shane is taller, which keeps them on an even playing field. Andrew has been there Shane’s whole life and Shane couldn’t be prouder to have Andrew beside him on his wedding day and for the rest of his future.
Best Man
As Shane’s brother-in-law, David and his family have been in Shane’s life for a long and meaningful time. David has taught Shane a lot about budgeting, skiing, Halo 3, how many dried mangoes can be consumed in one sitting, and everything else important in life. Shane is a proud uncle of David’s children and hopes to see them celebrate a Stars Stanley Cup while their jerseys still fit.
Groomsman
Marc and Shane have been to 47 concerts together at the time of writing this, but that may be outdated by the time you are reading this. The two of them have far too much in common which has lead to great trips, memorable concerts, a year of living together, unimaginable sports/political discourse, and serving on the same BBYO executive board for years. As the biggest recipient of Shane’s brief flight benefits, Marc has been flown by Shane almost as much as he drove Shane around in high school.
Groomsman
Shane followed Eric into BBYO and downtown Dallas to room together for years so Eric followed Shane into the airline industry and the competitive Catan circuit. Eric and Shane survived the pandemic together with frequent happy hours on the balcony, time in Westeros, Hogwarts, and Mordor, mobile Catan, poorly attended Toga parties, and virtual beer pong. Eric also drove Shane around a lot in high school, but it would be repetitive to list everyone who did.

Fraser knew Shane when he was a freshman in college and still decided to be his friend and for that, his loyalty will always be commendable. As leaders of the highly-competitive C Team for Pi Kappa Phi intramural basketball, Shane and Fraser bonded over foreign citizenships, sneakers, views that felt out of place in Oklahoma, and everything else but schoolwork. Sports team allegiance discussion has been redacted for propriety.
Groomsman
Despite being one of Shane’s youngest friends, Noah is also one of Shane’s oldest friends. Shane always saw Noah growing up at JCC sports leagues, synagogue, at shabbat dinners with their families, and on every sports team at Akiba. While Noah is not nearly as good as Shane at most games they play, they still often play board games, video games, and pickleball together.
Groomsman
Scott was the strange boy in middle school who Shane couldn’t avoid because they hung out with the same friends. Not much has changed. Scott was the most helpful member of Shane’s BBYO executive board when Shane was president, displaying the effects of Shane’s guidance and leadership. Shane eagerly awaits Scott’s frequent missed FaceTimes and any way else he gets to keep up with his adventures in the medical field. Scott also drove Shane around a lot in high school, but it would be repetitive to list everyone who did.
Groomsman
BBYO friends who reconnected after college, Cameron and Shane have not missed a major life milestone or anime movie release since. Cameron is one of the nicest people in Shane’s life and is always there to talk about sports, shoes, and marriage. All the important things.
Groomsman
Incredibly striking bird: adults have brilliant crimson head, black back, large white wing patches, and white belly. These large patches of solid color are unlike other woodpeckers with more intricate patterns. Found in open forests with clear understories, including pine plantations and standing timber in beaver swamps. Often social, found in family groups. Regularly seen caching nuts in the fall, perched on snags, and sallying out to catch insects. Occasionally visits feeders. Nests in cavities.
Groomsman
Hunter and Shane met in Israel, sharing a room together on Birthright in 2015 and have kept close ever since. Hunter and Shane visit each other often in Chicago and Dallas respectively to see the worst sports teams possible together. Shane visits more. They share a snap streak longer than Shane and Robbyn’s relationship.
