Things To Do
HIKING
Gore Creek Path - (easier) great views on this 1.8 mile point to point hike through Vail.
Martin Creek Trail - (moderate) Have some fun on this 2.5 mile out and back hike in the Holy Cross Wilderness. This was one of Shannon and Cameron's first hikes together.
Booth Falls - (moderate) If you're looking for a longer hike, this is the one. 4.2 miles on an out and back with plenty of views, wildflowers, waterfalls, and wildlife.
SHOPPING/DINING
Vail Village and Lionshead are centrally located in Vail and offer a variety of shops and restaurants. Plenty to do with great views of the mountains. Public shuttle from the Highline Hotel.
OTHER
The Betty Ford Alpine Gardens is a beautiful showcase of alpine flowers and other plants, and it boasts the title of highest botanical garden in the country, sitting at the base of Vail mountain at 8,250 feet.
At the top of Vail Mountain visit the Epic Discovery Center. Fly on a zipline, ride down the tubing hill or the mountain coaster.
