Things To Do

Washington DC is a beautiful place to walk around, and while you are visiting here is a list of some of our favorite things to do. Also, you guys are in for a treat. Our wedding weekend lands on the yearly Cherry Blossom festival held in DC! It's definitely a must see if you're in the city around that time of year. Cherry Blossoms are trees whose flower petals bloom in a light rose pink color and then slowly transition to white. It looks like it's snowing with all those petals scattered around DC!

National Mall

Washington, DC
, (202) 426-6841

Check out the White House, Washington Monument, U.S. Capitol, Jefferson Memorial, WWII Memorial, Lincoln Memorial, and tons of museums (if they're open due to Covid).

Tidal Basin

Washington, DC

You can go paddle-boat riding in the Tidal Basin. Again, you may have to check if the rental kiosks are open due to Covid but if they are, it's definitely something worth experiencing.

The Exorcist Stairs

3535 Prospect Street Northwest, Washington, DC 20007

These are the stairs that were filmed in the iconic movie "The Exorcist". It's located at the end of M street in Georgetown where there are plenty of shops and restaurants to check out as well. This area is gorgeous!

City Tap House Dupont

1250 Connecticut Avenue Northwest, Washington, DC 20036
, (202) 878-8235

Here's a really good restaurant in Dupont circle (where the ceremony will be held). There's also a huge night scene in this part of DC.

Georgetown Cupcake

3301 M Street Northwest, Washington, DC 20007
, (202) 333-8448

In case you want to grab some sweets from DC's most famous Bakery shop, check out Georgetown Cupcake. It's pretty close to The Exorcist stairs.

Yard House

812 7th Street Northwest, Washington, DC 20001
, (202) 962-0174

This place is ridiculously delicious. This is where Carlos (Sebi) held his graduation dinner!

Teaism Penn Quarter

400 8th Street Northwest, Washington, DC 20004
, (202) 638-6010

A local tea shop that also serves Asian cuisine. Caroline and Elizabeth have spent a lot of time here and can give you food and beverage suggestions if you ask!

Clyde's of Gallery Place

707 7th Street Northwest, Washington, DC 20001
, (202) 349-3700

This is a great restaurant in the heart of Chinatown Galleria where there are tons of other pubs, restaurants, and an AMC movie theater to check out.

For all the days along the way
