You do. We have to abide by CDC guidelines in order to hold the reception. So please keep your mask on (covering both your mouth and nose) to help protect us all. Please keep in mind that some of our guests are high-risk so we can't stress this rule enough! If you are unable to wear a mask for medical reasons, we will be livestreaming the ceremony and would love for you to celebrate with us that way.
The short answer is no. Children may come to the ceremony but not to the reception. If you're flying in, it may make more sense to leave the little ones at home with a babysitter :)
Yes! It is our plan to have this option available for those who are not comfortable traveling at this time. We would prefer you to be involved with our wedding in whatever way you feel safest. This will be updated on the website closer to the actual day!
No! Due to DC COVID restrictions, we can not have groups larger than 10 people indoors, so whatever ends up happening will be outside!
There is limited street parking near the Cathedral. If you are staying in a hotel or in an AirBnB, it may be easier to rideshare your way around the city. There are also metro options if you'd prefer to travel that way. Note: Parking in DC is really hard to find and really expensive!
Historically, the D.C. metro area can be a bit on the chilly side in the Spring season. According to weather.com, the average temperature for March 20th in DC is 59/40 degrees Fahrenheit.
