The Independence Mall has plenty to do- a short distance from Conshohocken, the Liberty Bell, Indpendence Mall, and the National Constitution Center are all here.
The Art Museum lies at the far end of the Benjamin Franklin Parkway, modeled after the Champs-Elysées in Paris. Even if you're not into art, the surroundings are gorgeous and is a pleasant stroll. You can also try your hand at running up the famous "Rocky steps" or take a picture with the Rocky statue!
You can connect either from Philadelphia for some urban sights or in Conshohocken for a more natural feel along the Schyulkill (pronounced skoo-kill) River
The oldest still running open-air market in America, the Italian Market has plenty of selections from vegetable stands to an artisan olive oil and vinegar shop to DiBruno Bros with a large selection of cured meats and cheeses
There's a huge number of Cheesesteak places around town to choose from, some of our favorites include Campo's in Old City (pinned), Woodrow's Sandwich Shop on South Street, or Tony Luke's in South Philly. You can go to Pat's or Geno's if you like, but we think there are better cheesesteaks around!
