Bride
Serina - also known as Seri or Rina to those closest to her - grew up in Eagan, Minnesota, surrounded by love, laughter, and the world’s best parents, Pete and Lisa. She’s the younger sister to Ally, who she always looks up to (even if Serina’s technically taller), and is the kind of person who notices the little things, makes everyone feel seen, and always shows up when it matters most. A lover of books, the outdoors, and cooking as a personal chef to her clients Austin and Bleu, Serina is equal parts organized and goofy. She’s the kind of person you can lean on, laugh with, and count on to bring a little magic into everyday life. Her guilty pleasure is ice cream, but just mention the word “pickle” and you’ll see her eyes light up. Serina dreams of writing a book one day and has just one thing on her bucket list: seeing the northern lights. But more importantly, she is beyond excited to marry her best friend, build a life full of love and laughter, and one day, raise a few mini Brackens together.

If you know Austin, you know he’s the guy who can talk about stocks, taxes, and finance like it’s the most exciting thing in the world (and somehow, make you believe it is too). Born and raised in St. George, Utah, Austin is the middle of three brothers and the proud son of Jenny and Ken. From a young age, he knew he wanted to be an accountant (such a nerd<3). Austin is incredibly smart, driven, and loyal, with a heart as big as his love for ducks, Goldfish crackers, chicken quesadillas, and his favorite NFL team, the Saints. He’s a collector of quirky figurines and duck-themed treasures, and his curly hair is 100% natural - something the older ladies never fail to appreciate. When he’s not working, you’ll find him hanging out with his sidekick, Bleu, watching sports or YouTube, or dreaming about visiting duck and husky farms in Iceland. He’s the kind of person who makes you feel instantly at ease, who’s always thinking one step ahead, and who’s going to be the most incredible husband, best friend, and future dad.
Our Story
The Early Days
Serina and Austin met on Tinder during their first few weeks at Dixie State (now Utah Tech), both just looking for friends. As fate would have it, they were the only people either of them talked to on the app - and the only ones they ever met up with. Their first hangout was a drive around town in Austin’s police Charger with Serina's roommate and Austin's friend Andy on September 18, 2020. Unsure of what to do but wanting to do something so they could get to know each other, they explored some homes that were being built. It was immediately clear that no matter what they were doing, it was easy to be around one another. The next night, they stayed up talking on FaceTime until the sun came up - and they’ve been inseparable ever since. One week after knowing each other, Serina called her mom and said she was going to marry him... and here we are. They made their relationship official on September 30, 2020, and within weeks, Serina had practically moved in with Austin at his grandparents’ house. From there, their life together took off - adopting their floofy husky Bleu in February 2021, moving into their first place together in March 2022, and reaching milestones side by side. From the very beginning, their relationship has been easy, supportive, and full of love.
Our Story
The Start of Forever
Graduating college together in May 2024 was a milestone that meant more than just a diploma. It marked the moment Serina and Austin could finally start planning their future together. Serina earned her bachelor’s degree in Communications, while Austin completed his bachelor’s in Accounting and continued on to pursue his master’s - with Serina by his side through it all, cheering him on. On November 9, 2024, after months of playful fake-outs and with Austin in the thick of his master’s program, working full-time, and dealing with a knee injury, he proposed on top of a mountain. They spent the morning getting coffee and wandering around a Saturday morning market before taking the short drive to Padre Canyon Trail. After summiting the mountain, they sat catching their breath and admiring the stunning red rock when Serina called her mom and joked that it would be the perfect time for a proposal. She had no idea Austin had the ring in his pocket. When two girls asked them to take a photo and then returned the favor, Austin got down on one knee. Bleu sat beside him like they had rehearsed it a hundred times. It was a moment that was perfectly them - unexpected, sweet, and full of love. Over the years, they’ve shared laughter, challenges, adventures, and countless Bleu floofs, and recently moved to Dallas, Texas. Now, they’re beyond excited to begin this next chapter as husband and wife.
