Train
For those travelling from the US or Lat Am, the best way to get to Uzès is to fly into Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport and then take the TGV train to Nimes. There is also the TGV to Avignon but it’s further from Uzes (50min) and has a notoriously long queue for taxis/rentals. From there, either take a taxi (Taxi Nabais) to Uzès. Or rent a car at the station (Sixt, Avis or Europcar).
Travel Note
There are two cafes which we recommend that you use as a meeting place. They are the Suisse D’Alger and the Café de l’Hotel. There are over 60 restaurants in Uzes, most are quite good. Andres and Lizz’s favorites are “Ten” and “La Famille.” Please note “Ten” requires reservations.
