Thursday Afternoon Hike!
2:30 pm - 4:30 pm
We will hike behind our home in the foothills of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains along (or in if you like) the Rio Quemado - all levels of walkers welcome! Closed toed shoes suggested. These are coyote trails more than "park paths" . . . so excited to share this sacred place with you all! Parking will be along driveway overflow at Rancho de Chimayo Restaurant - directly next to our house.

From Española take Highway 68 towards Taos, and travel approximately 8 miles. - Shortly after passing a sign for the village of Alcalde on your left, you will pass the Oñate Center on your right (look for an equestrian statue). - Turn left onto County Rd 48 for 0.6 miles. - Immediately afterwards, you will see a sign for Los Luceros Ranch on your left. - You will be directed to parking in the orchard.
