Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Sepideh Hakimzadeh and Jay Fernandez
Los Angeles is a culturally rich, vibrant, and fun city. We've listed below some of our favorite museums, restaurants, and natural settings to check out! We live in South Pasadena and the places we've included are in the Pasadena, Mid-city, DTLA area. All areas that are more easily accessible. The West Side, where the beaches are, has lots to do, too, but it's about a 45-minute drive depending on the time of day.

Griffith Park Observatory

2800 East Observatory Road, Los Angeles, CA 90027

You get commanding views of Los Angeles from the Observatory, and on a good day you can see all the way to the Pacific Ocean. There are also hiking trails at Griffith Park, and you can get a view of the iconic Hollywood sign.

Norton Simon Museum

411 West Colorado Boulevard, Pasadena, CA 91105
, (626) 449-6840

We've had many dates here. Fantastic breadth of art, including quite a few Degas sculptures, and a lovely outdoor sculpture garden. It's not far from South Pas.

The Huntington Library, Art Collections, and Botanical Gardens

1151 Oxford Road, San Marino, CA 91108
, (626) 405-2100
The Last Bookstore

The Last Bookstore

453 South Spring Street, Los Angeles, CA 90013

We love this place. Huge and eccentric, includes a performance space and an upstairs "maze" of books. For any lit-lovers in the group.

The Broad

221 South Grand Avenue, Los Angeles, CA 90012
, (213) 232-6200

Los Angeles County Museum of Art

5905 Wilshire Boulevard, Los Angeles, CA 90036
, (323) 857-6000

Los Angeles Zoo

5333 Zoo Drive, Los Angeles, CA 90027
, (323) 644-4200

Descanso Gardens

1418 Descanso Drive, La Cañada Flintridge, CA 91011
, (818) 949-4200

This is where the ceremony will be. Lots to explore.

The Gamble House

4 Westmoreland Place, Pasadena, CA 91103
, (626) 793-3334

For any fans of the Arts and Crafts movement -- or of beautiful house design in general -- this is a must-see.
