Getting there

Guests can reach Italy via Rome (FCO) or Florence (FLR) for the most convenient international connections. From either airport, the castle is approximately: Rome FCO → Castello di Rosciano: ~3.5 hours by car or around 3 hours via train Florence FLR → Castello di Rosciano: ~3 hours by car or around 2 hours via train If you prefer, you can also fly into Perugia Airport (PEG), which is about 15 minutes from the castle. This option has fewer flights but is the closest airport.

Italy’s train network is excellent for reaching nearby towns, but the castle itself is easiest accessed by car or arranged transfer. Guests can travel from the airport by train to Perugia or Assisi, then continue by taxi or rental car.

Taxi/Cab Information

It can be difficult to get a taxi in Perugia (no Uber). If arriving at Perugia airport or heading to Castello di Rosciano from the Perugia city center, make sure you book a transfer ahead of time. Most taxi drivers do take credit card, but we recommend bringing € (just in case). Castello di Rosciano

Castello di Rosciano is a 2,000 year old castle, which is a national historic monument. We will have exclusive use of the castle for 2 nights (September 21st & 22nd). There are double/triple rooms and apartments onsite available to our guests. - Double rooms: €120 per night - Single rooms: €80 per night To add additional guests to a room there is a fee per night of €50 for each extra adult, €20 per children 4-10 years old, and €10 per children 0-3 years old. Breakfast is included. We would love for you all to join us in staying at Castello di Rosciano as all wedding events will take place at the castle. If you prefer to stay off-site, there are several nearby hotels you may consider. Please let us know in the RSVP form if you prefer to stay at Castello di Rosciano. If you respond "yes" to staying at the castle, we will assign guest rooms closer to the event date. Payment will be taken before departure from the castle.
