Question

When should I arrive?

Answer

Our wedding celebration will take place September 21–22, 2026. We’ll kick off the celebrations with a welcome pizza party on the evening of September 21, followed by the wedding celebration on September 22. Guests may wish to arrive earlier to compensate for potential flight delays or simply for extra time to explore! Enjoy the beauty of Umbria, wander the charming streets of Torgiano and Perugia, visit the historic sites of Assisi, Tuscany or Rome, tour a winery or cook with Italian Nonnas. Whatever your heart desires!

Question

What’s the best way to find train routes or book transportation in Italy?

Answer

For planning your route, we recommend downloading apps like Omio or Rome2Rio, which provide up-to-date lists of all travel options (trains, buses, ferries, and flights) from your location to the castle. Once in Italy, you can continue to use the Omio app or the Trenitalia app to view train schedules, book tickets, and check real-time updates for travel within the country. Both are available on iPhone and Android.

Question

Is transportation provided from hotels?

Answer

Guests staying off-site should arrange their own transport or contact the wedding planner for shuttle recommendations.

Question

What's the weather going to be like?

Answer

Late September is mild, around 64–77°F. Evenings may be cooler, so bring a light jacket or wrap.
