Smith Rock State Park
Great local park near Sisters and Bend. Cool rock formations to see and if you're into climbing, this is the local destination for you. There are hiking trails for different skill levels.
High Desert Museum
This central Oregon museum has alive wildlife inside! They offer interactive exhibits and history of the local area.
Tumalo Falls
This stunning waterfall is a short drive from Sisters. There are scenic viewpoints that are easily accessible via a short hike.
McKenzie Pass-Santiam Pass Scenic Byway
If you want to take a half day or full day to explore Central Oregon, do take this drive. You can start in Sisters to do this drive which heads into the Oregon Cascades. Plenty of hikes and attractions along the way so we encourage you to add that to your travel planning.
Downtown Bend
We've been charmed by this town, and downtown is its beating heart. Full of restaurants, breweries, shops and more, park the car and enjoy hours of exploring!
Old Mill District
The new heart of Bend, this former industrial complex has been re-imagined as a shopping and dining destination. You can also stroll the park along the Deschutes River, or catch an outdoor concert at Hayden Homes Ampitheater.
Bend Ale Trail
More than just brews, this trail is a great way to learn the area. Try beer, cider, or spirits, and make multiple stops, or just venture for one. DD encouraged! End your trail in downtown Sisters or Bend and take some time to walk the town.
Mount Bachelor
Want some adventure in the mountains, or just some of the best views around? Mount Bachelor has activities for all. Check their website for which summer activities are planning to open by early June.
