Question

Anything I should know about what to wear?

Answer

Suggested attire is formal! Feel free to come in tuxedos, suits, and gowns, or wear nice cocktail attire. The ceremony and reception will be held indoors, but you will be able to be outside for cocktail hour. Weather in Rhode Island in July is typically warm and may be humid, but note that the Dunes Club is on the beach so it may be windy.

Please RSVP either online or via your mail in card by May 24th so we can prepare with the venue!

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes, you may (hello, Los Angeles friends)! Please alert the bride directly (alexandracburns@gmail.com) and we will do everything we can to accommodate. The Dunes Club is very good about this, so please do not hesitate to share your vegan, gluten free, nut free, dairy free asks.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

As a general rule, we are not including children under 18 outside of our immediate family. We would like you to come and have a fun, adults' night off! If you are traveling from out of town and need to hire a babysitter for the night, please contact the bride directly (alexandracburns@gmail.com) to discuss and we'll do everything we can to help accommodate.

Can I bring a date?

If we've accounted for a plus one for you, that will be noted on your invitation envelope with "and guest" and there will be an opportunity to share their name on the online RSVP form.

Is there parking?

The Dunes Club will offer complementary valet parking for our event.

Is there more than one location?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will take place at The Dunes Club! No need to move locations.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the wedding?

Answer

Since our out of town guests are staying at a variety of locations around town, we are not coordinating group transportation. Uber, Lyft and taxis are all available and great options, although they may take a little while to arrive to your location (10-30 minutes), so please plan accordingly. Also, do note that as it is a holiday weekend, the town police will be monitoring for those drinking and driving, so we recommend finding transportation if you'd like to indulge in our open bar.

What's on the menu?

Answer

There will be a variety of passed appetizers (seafood, meat, and vegetarian options) and then our entrees are as follows: Entrées Served with oven roasted potatoes and haricot vert Seafood New England style baked haddock with a ritz cracker stuffing, topped with lobster meat. Beef Grilled 8oz filet mignon with a red wine demi glace. Vegan Portabella Steak Wellington with a red wine demi glace. They will be served with a roasted pear and blue cheese salad, and everything comes with rolls.

What color are the bridesmaid dresses?

They're wearing white long dresses with a floral print
