Semi-formal or cocktail attire. Cocktail attire is a smidge more formal than semiformal attire, but in both cases you can avoid a tuxedo or evening gown. Semi-formal attire is slightly more relaxed, while still requiring a blazer or sport coat with matching dress pants or a well-tailored 2-piece suit, along with a dress shirt and, in most cases, a tie. Women following this fashion directive might opt for a cocktail dress or a polished set. Semi-formal also translates to optional shorter hemlines, if desired, or elevated separates like a festive top paired with tailored dress pants and heels. We kindly request that you please refrain from wearing any overtly bold prints or bright colors, like: Primary red, primary yellow, royal blue, lime green Falling line with an autumnal floral/greenery inspired color palette, the couple suggests wearing fall season, earth tones, or deep jewel tones, if possible.
You probably know that we have nothing but LOVE for all of your kiddos — however, with the exception of our flower girl (Jenna’s niece), with respect, children will NOT be included for the ceremony or reception. Thank you for your understanding.
Our venue is making an exception for our own pup’s limited presence on-site for photos, but otherwise, no: Villa de Amore has a “no pets allowed” policy. Be sure to say hello to Hopper while he’s around if you want some puppy lovin’! Just please be advised, there is a 100% chance he’s going to shed on you and your nice clothes, so, pet at your own risk. (*Jenna plans to bring a little lint roller, just in case though!)
The ceremony space is outside, and will take place on an uncovered grass lawn. The latter part of our wedding for the dinner and reception will be hosted indoors.
Historically speaking, Octobers in Temecula, CA are fairly dry with moderate to warm temperatures — generally falling between around 51 to 76 degrees (daily avg. low/ high). While it certainly can reach higher temps than that in the midst of random late heat waves or our famed “Indian summers,” typically the weather in the fall is rather beautiful. 🤞🏻 Looking ahead at the forecast, we’re expecting a lovely and moderate day of weather on 10/26! With all the fluctuations to be considered, it’s currently projected about 74 degrees at the time we start, and 60 degrees by the end.
We want all safe and sober driving on our special day, please, so we’ll be providing the shuttle transportation to and from the group hotel - however, we understand the convenience and flexibility of having your own transportation. There is ample free parking (will require some travel on dirt roads) at our venue, should you wish to drive yourself. You can even keep your car parked in the venue lot until the next morning, if you should opt to catch the shuttle or an Uber back home. If you must leave your vehicle overnight, please be advised that no alcohol may be left in the vehicle unattended overnight, nor any valuables. All personal vehicles will need to be off the lot by noon on Friday, 10/27.
We have arranged for 2 guest shuttles to run simultaneously, making 3 pick-up’s at Embassy Suites about every 20-30 minutes until the last guest has arrived at the venue (note - arrival via shuttle should be no later than approximately 3:45pm, therefore the last shuttle departure will be around 3:15pm). Plan to be ready early! The first shuttle departure may be as early as appx 2:25pm, with arrival slated for about an hour before the ceremony starts. Don’t you worry, the bar will be serving beer, wine, & cocktails a little early. Spots are assigned. Find your estimated shuttle departure time on the welcome bag insert or see the Schedule tab — note, even though times given are approximates by the tour company, you risk being responsible for your own transportation if you miss the bus, so please arrive downstairs early “better safe than sorry”. The shuttle buses will also provide the return transportation, which is available from 8:30pm until 11:30pm.
With so many guests graciously traveling in one way, shape, or form for our wedding, we have included the welcome event as a way to allow us even more precious time to visit with all our loved ones on the night before our big day. It’s a laid-back get-together at a local little microbrewery (Wild Barrel) — wedding guests may come and go as they please! We will be there from 7pm until about 9:30pm. Everyone is welcome, of course!
Yes!!! We’ll hop on the return shuttles with you all and continue the party at Embassy Suites’ bar + patio area.
