Only 20 minutes from downtown Leesburg is one of the best breweries around. Dirt Farm offers a fantastic view of the surrounding Shenandoah Mountains and uses local ingredients to brew their beer.
Stone Tower Winery
A local favorite, Stone Tower is a stones throw from Leesburg in a bucolic setting. Delicious red and white wines are on the menu and it's open from 11am to 6pm.
Raven Rocks
Interested in a rewarding yet challenging hike? This moderately difficult hike takes you through VA and WV and is about 6 miles roundtrip. It should take you about 4 hours. Bring enough water and wear good shoes.
Topgolf
If you find yourself with a couple hours to spare. TopGolf is a welcoming and relaxed approach to golf with great food and drinks. It can get fairly crowded in the evenings. They have heaters!
Mom's Apple Pie Bakery
Want to take a piece of Loudon home with you? Mom's has THE best pie. Some favorites are the blackberry or apple pies. If you aren't a pie fan they have decadent cookies and cake too.

If you need a dinner recommendation for Friday night look no further. Monk's BBQ has live music every Friday night, local beer and bourbon, and the best smoked meats in Northern VA.

If you are in the area on Friday, stop by the Blooming Hill Lavendar Farm and gift shop. Smell the most beautiful strands of lavender and perhaps stay for a spot of tea.
