We encourage you to RSVP as soon as you can. If something has changed and you would like to attend, we would love to have you! Please let us know as soon as you are able if you are able to attend. While we know that Covid-19 makes it difficult to plan in advance, we are also trying to appropriately plan on our end. If you aren't sure whether you'll be able to make it until closer to the actual date, just let us know. We get it.
There will be masks available and hand sanitizer throughout the wedding venue. The ceremony, cocktail hour of lawn games, and reception dancing will occur outside and the pavilion, where dinner will be served, is an open air venue. We will also have two bathrooms where you'll be able to wash your hands. We are planning to set up the wedding ceremony chairs at a distance and can accommodate anyone who wants to stay socially distanced from others. Our hope is to celebrate with socially distanced lawn games and outdoor dancing to keep the event as safe as possible.
Our ceremony is a little bit of a walk from the entrance of Blue Heron Lake. We highly recommend arriving to the ceremony at least 15 minutes early so that you have ample time to get seated. If you have any concerns walking that distance, you can get dropped off closer to the ceremony location - please let us know in advance if this is easier for you.
Yes! Please let us know if your children are planning to attend. We will have kids activities and want to make sure we plan for your little ones accordingly.
Yes, there is ample parking at Blue Heron Lake. If you'd like to drive to the venue, you are by all means welcome too, but we will also have transportation provided from two hotels. We do ask that you not drive home drunk. If you need to leave your car at the venue at the end of the night and take the provided transportation home, we can help arrange rides to the venue the next day.
Of course! We are two families full of food allergies, so please don't hesitate to let us know of your dietary restrictions.
