The Raleigh Wine Shop
Scott & Dylan love visiting the Raleigh Wine Shop and even have had a Birthday event with them. They have a great staff and it's a great place to grab a glass of wine and some charcuterie. Ask for Kim, and def ask her to recommend you a porch pounder to take with you back to your hotel!
Tazza Kitchen Village District
This is a Raleigh favorite for Scott and Dylan that combines great cocktails, pizza, salads and tacos. Many dates have been spent here. Reservations recommended and available on RESY.
Trophy Brewing & Pizza
Trophy Brewing is a great place to check out if you are looking to check out a local brewery and pizza shop, look no further! It's a great place to grab a beer, and one of the highest-rated local breweries in Raleigh! We suggest the Local Celebrity & a pint of the Trophy Wife!
MoJoe's Burger Joint
This is one of our favorite burger, sandwich, and salad spots downtown. It is worth noting that it is within walking distance to many of the hotels that we have suggested for guests. We suggest maybe grabbing some wings or mozzarella sticks, a good burger and crinkle fries - you won't be disappointed!
Players' Retreat
Players Retreat is an oldie but a goodie. Scott & Dylan usually take all their friends here when they visit from out of town. Located in the heart of NC State's Campus, it's a great place for a burger, onion rings, and some mozzarella sticks. Sit outside, and enjoy the weather!
Taverna Agora
This is a great spot for lunch with a wonderful rooftop. Scott & Dylan highly recommend their chicken platter with fries - we swear they are some of the best in Raleigh. Reservations available on RESY. Be sure to ask to sit upstairs and enjoy a beautiful day.
State of Beer
This is a great locals spot for lunch or an afternoon beer in town. Highly recommend the Sicilian Sandwich, Toasted. Tons of local beers from some of North Carolina's top breweries.
Farmers Market Drive
Scott & Dylan suggest checking out the Farmers Market if you're in the mood to grab some local pastries & baked goods while getting a feel for the Raleigh Community. Scott & Dylan suggest grabbing a tub of Kettle Corn & a lemonade, they're both musts!
