Can I rsvp online or do I need to send in the rsvp Card?

Answer

Please Kindly RSVP by returning your RSVP Card found in your Invitation.

What is the dress code?

Answer

We ask that our guests dress in all-black tie formal attire. Men: Black tuxedos or Black Suits with white shirts, etc. Women: Black Floor-length gowns or dresses are preferred.

Will the wedding be inside or outside?

Answer

While we are hopeful that we will have beautiful weather for our wedding weekend, it won't ruin our day! The ceremony will take place on the main lawn of the Merrimon Wynne House which is entirely outdoor. There will be umbrellas to provide shade for guests. The cocktail hour is expected to take place in the house and on the porch of the property.

Are children allowed/invited to the big day?

While we would love to celebrate with all of the kiddos in our lives, we ask that your little ones stay home & you enjoy a night or weekend away as this is an adult-only event.

Are the ceremony and reception at the same location?

Answer

Yes! The beautiful historic home and carriage house are just steps away from each other where the ceremony and reception will take place.

Can I park at The Merrimon Wynne House?

Answer

Yes! The property has parking located directly to the right of it and on N. Blount St. However, we suggest taking an uber or lyft to ensure that you have the easiest travel and maximum amount of fun at our event! To ensure safety of our guests, we encourage those we are drinking to leave their car overnight if you decide to drive and park at the venue. This will not result in any charges or towing.

What time should I plan to arrive?

Answer

We encourage all of our guests to arrive in between 5:00-5:15 pm. This way you will have time to grab a glass of champagne and find your seat. We will plan on starting the ceremony at 5:30 pm.

Are there plans for after the wedding?

Answer

Yes, last call during our reception will be at 10:00 pm with a 10:30 exit. The Great Raleigh Trolley will be providing taxi service to the afterparty, and three local hotels: The Casso, The AC hotel, and The Hyatt House Seaboard Station. The Grooms and wedding party will be delivered first, and the trolley will make multiple trips.
