April and Casey met while working at The Goddard School and would hang out occasionally. It wasn't until a few years later when Casey was finally able to start having fun again after grad school that the two grew closer. April and Casey lived together for almost 4 years and that time was filled with constant laughter, adventures and shenanigans. April and Scott love talking about movies and pop culture things Casey knows nothing about.

Brittney and Casey have been friends since Kindergarten! People often confused them for each other growing up which lead to the nicknames Twin A and Twin B. Brittney has always been a huge support for Casey; no matter the distance between them or time since they last talked, they always pick up right where they left off.
Chelsey Fox

Chelsey and Casey went to high school together but their friendship grew much closer in college while Chelsey was at Marquette and Casey at UW. Chelsey is always there with music and clothing recommendations, funny memes, crazy work stories and a rational voice which means the world to Casey.
Courtney Meikel

Courtney and Casey became friends in high school but grew even closer when they went to UW. The two love watching badger athletics together and also share the same love for Taylor Swift. Casey is so thankful for Courtney's unwavering friendship. Fun fact: Courtney and her husband John were some of the first friends of Casey's that Scott met.

Krista and Casey have been friends since birth due to a forced friendship because their dad's are friends. Lucky for them, they got along great and have always had the best times together. Casey is honorarily known as the third sister in the Solie family. They share countless memories of camping trips, cabin weekends, and more recently of visiting each other in Texas, Colorado and Minnesota. There is no shortage of laughter when they are together.
Paige Solie

Paige and Casey have been friends since birth due to a forced friendship because their dad's were friends. Lucky for them, they got along great and have always had the best times together. Casey is honorarily known as the third sister in the Solie family. They share countless memories of camping trips, cabin weekends, and more recently of visiting each other in Colorado and Minnesota. Everytime they are together it's a guarantee they will laugh until they cry.
Dr. Mike Rhoads
Best Man
Scott and Mike go way back. They played against each other in competing high school mens volleyball teams. While they played on the same team for club volleyball. Mike then was recruited to Newman University. Scott then followed suit and also accepted a scholarship to Newman University. They have played with and against each other even to this day and have always remained close. It used to be hard to differentiate between Scott and Mike until Scott lost his hair and did a little more... we will call it bulking up ha. They both still play often and at a high level of sand volleyball.
Gwen Edwards

Gwen is Scott's dumb awesome sister who has been through thick and thin with him. (Those are his words.) Ever since the beginning, Scott and Gwen have been very close and remain close to this day. Scott walked Gwen down the aisle in her wedding. Gwen is also an avid volleyballer who took a full ride scholarship at Armstrong University in Savanah, Georgia. She currently resides in San Diego with her equally awesome husband, Barry. Casey is so pumped to be gaining Gwen as a sister!
Jarod Norelius

Scott's work wife. Around the office, they are now regarded as a single entity. Jarod actually trained Scott 3+ years ago when he first started at A.G.W.. They both have been on the same worksite for 3 years and as Scott puts it " We run that joint" Basically, they screw around, keep each other sane, and make work fun for each other.
Josh Fivgas
Groomsman
Scott and Josh met in 2006 when Scott started playing for Doom, the best indoor men's volleyball team in Colorado. Ever since then, the team has been close and will always be family. Josh is an incredible opposite with his own unique style. He owns his own high end flooring company Evolution Hardwood and no one does better work. Scott even lived lived with Josh and Ted for small stretch in Denver. Josh has always been there for Scott for the good and bad.
Kevin Weiss
Groomsman
Scott and Kevin have known each other for a long time. They first met while Kevin was playing for the competition. Scott played on Doom, and Kevin played for East. Doom was better, lol. At the time, Kevin's now wife Jess was Scott's roommate, and it wasn't long until they met and started dating. They all then became roomies for years. Kevin is also an incredible volleyball player who now plays on Doom with Scott, Mike, Ted, and Josh.
Ted Yuritich
Groomsman
Scott also meet Ted in 2006 when he started playing with Doom. Ted is an incredible setter who regularly makes the All Tournament Team in Open Mens Volleyball Nationals. Scott also worked for Ted for around 5 years. Ted runs and owns his own painting company, Renaissance Restoration. Ted is also a phenomenal artist. You probably have seen some of his murals around Denver without knowing it. Teds leadership and friendship has always been a much needed constant in Scott's life.
Kaya Ioka
Flower Girl
Casey has known Kaya since she was just a few months old. Kaya attended the preschool where Casey worked and her parents were in need of a babysitter. The Iokas and Casey quickly bonded and have remained close long after they've all left Goddard. Casey has loved getting to watch Kaya grow up and still claims Kaya as her own ;). Scott and Casey enjoy getting to watch Kaya compete in her many extracurriculars.
Lennon Mullins
Flower Girl
Lennon is Casey's cousin's daughter and one of her favorite little humans. Uncle Scott (or Huge Scott according to Lennon) is definitely Lennon's favorite. Scott and Casey love living close to the Mullins' and getting to spend time with them.
Deegan Ioka
Ring Bearer
Casey has known Deegan since he was born. Deegan attended the preschool Casey worked at and was a shoe-in as one of her favorites with his chubby cheeks, thigh rolls, and being Kaya's little brother. The Iokas and Casey have remained close long after they've all left Goddard. Casey has loved getting to watch Deegan grow up and still claims him as her own ;). Scott and Casey enjoy getting to watch Deegan compete (and usually win) in his many extracurriculars.
Rory Kloskin

Rory is Scott's cousin's son. Scott and Casey have loved getting to spend time with the Kloskin's when the visit Minnesota. Rory and his family live only 15 minutes from Casey's family! Unfortunately, due to Rory's upcoming promotion to big brother he will not be able to attend the wedding.
