Question

Can I bring guests / +1's not noted on my invitation?

Answer

We addressed the invitations to the people we would like to be there on our special day. If you received a plus one, their name will appear under your name when you RSVP. Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate guests that are formally invited to your wedding invitation.

Question

Are children invited?

Answer

We love your little ones! However, due to the factor of limited space, we respectfully request no children under the age of 16. We hope you understand and enjoy your weekend away!

Question

What should I do if I can't make?

Answer

You will be missed! If you can not make our wedding day, we completely understand. Please make sure you RSVP "no" as soon as possible so we can plan accordingly.

Question

Can I take pictures?

Answer

We are having an "unplugged ceremony". This means that we are asking that all phones and devices be put away and on silent during the ceremony. Our professional photographer is there to capture this important moment in our lives. We do not want phones or devices blocking her ability to capture these moments. After the ceremony, feel free to take as many pictures as you want! We will share the photos from the ceremony as soon as we get them back from our photographer.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We would love to see our family and friends get fancy with us! Please, no jeans or t-shirts. Feel free to pack these items to wear on the remainder of your weekend in upstate NY for us. However, we are requesting a formal dress code for our wedding ceremony and reception.

Question

Are there any colors I should avoid wearing?

Answer

We kindly ask that you do not wear colors that are traditionally reserved for the bride- whites, ivories, etc. Please also note that bridesmaids will be wearing terracotta dresses. Other than that, you can wear whatever colors you like!

Question

What do I do when I arrive?

Answer

We can not wait to see you! When you arrive at The Lodge at Harrisburg Lake, please visit the front desk in the main lodge. The owners will be there to direct you to your room in the main lodge or the chalet that you will be staying in for the weekend. For a list of times and events that will be happening throughout the weekend, please visit the schedule section on the website.
