My first time I can recall meeting Josh was somewhere about 2011 or 2012 at Sunset Cove. We would occasionally end up at the same friends home but both of us just kinda said hi and went on with our day. Josh started working at Mule Camp, where I would regularly visit. We made small talk and such while I ordered drinks. Then came 2017 when I posted I was moving and could really use some help. Josh was the first to respond and offer his help. Denise said then that he wasn’t just helping me move…she was right. Josh and I talked throughout the day, where I may have exaggerated my love and ability to hike. It landed me on several fun filled hikes where I’m pretty sure he wanted to abandon me in the wilderness but he never did. From there we hung out more and more until he just kinda stopped going home and I liked it that way. Now here we are, getting married. Something neither of us ever thought we wanted, now I wouldn’t want to do this thing called life without him.

Kind of just fell into the Bride's lap one day. She seems to enjoy my company, as it's been 21 years, and she's yet to feed me to the growing collection of cats, but that could change any moment. In all seriousness, I really do love my mom, and she's made a pretty decent choice picking Josh. My first memories of him are the day we moved into the duplex off Whites Mill, his scruffy beard telling one of the other people who helped to stop twisting clockwise, and instead turn the other way so they could fit it through the front door. That couch, surprisingly, stuck around about as long as he's been dealing with the controlled chaos that is Gina, and living with them gives some rather wholesome insight into the lives they lead together. Anyway, I'm the kid. Look at the eyes, it's kinda weird.

I met Gina when we both worked at a swanky restaurant in town, and bonded over thwarting the male ego and cleaning house. We've clocked probably 10,000 hours of giggle time since then, loving and supporting one another like no friend I've ever had. I'm so happy to have adopted this little introvert. I met Josh as the bartender no one could understand, watching him make my best friend happy has been a joy. I can't wait to help celebrate their big day! Love you guys!

Hi, I’m Madeleine! Gina and I met in college over 10 years ago. Gasp, I know. Our communications professor was offering extra credit for students to be on a mock mediation team. We were quickly the best of friends and for the next two years we spent many hours together crafting up acceptable offers from the other team, a helper monkey may or not have been involved. We traveled twice to Iowa, becoming national champion mediators along the way and once Chicago, where we placed in the top 10 amongst law students. I may have peaked then, but in all seriousness, thinking back to the some of the best times of my youth, Gina was there with me and I am so happy for her and Josh and I cannot wait to celebrate them!!!

I met Josh and shortly after Gina working at Hopscotch and through the square. From initial intimidation to movie days and dinner they quickly became my “bar parents”. The time we spend together, while not always optional, is always exciting and I can’t wait to be a part of their day!
