May Day
Our very own Matthew's restaurant! Located in the Old North End in Burlington, it's walking distance from downtown and while of course we're biased, it's easily the best restaurant in Burlington. May Day is a seasonally-inspired restaurant with a revolving menu, changing based on which vegetables and proteins are peaking at any given moment. The wine list is playful, consisting of all kinds of fun natural wine - the cocktail program is delicious and exciting, but most of all - the hospitality and the vibe simply couldn't be more on point.
Hen of the Wood Burlington/Waterbury
Our dear friends run both the Burlington and Waterbury Hen of the Wood restaurants, and highly recommend each of them for fantastic dining experiences. Each space is beautiful, with unmatched hospitality. Head to Waterbury for an out of town moment, or the Burlington location is an easy walk from anywhere in the downtown area.
Restaurant Poco
Restaurant Poco is one of the only other places we dine out in Burlington, run by some of our favorite industry pals. Poco serves a playful menu of shareable plates, lots of fun wine, and a great cocktail program to match. No reservations, just walk in!
The 126
The 126 is an upscale craft cocktail bar, also run by some industry pals! Their cocktail program is unmatched and serves an awesome jazz club vibe.
T Rugg's Tavern
Our favorite dive bar in the whole wide world! We intend to finish the night of the wedding partying here and highly recommend you spend some time here during your visit as well.
