The Ceremony

Join us at the one and only Burlington institution, The St. John's Club, to witness our exchange of commitments with beautiful Lake Champlain behind us. We'll be gathering on the grassy lawn at SJC with seating for the ceremony. Enter through the front of the building and make a pit stop at the bar where you're encouraged to grab a beverage upon arrival, before heading outside to enjoy the view of the lake before the ceremony. Have a glass of Champagne on us, otherwise, the full bar at the St. John's Club will be available for folks who want to swing for something else. Guests will be guided to their seats at 4PM for the start of the ceremony. ***If you'd like to go car-less for the day and avoid parking, we encourage you to take the complimentary buses we've rented for transportation across town, to and from SJC and Hotel VT. The bus will depart Hotel VT for the ceremony at SJC at 3:15 PM, and leave SJC at 4:45 PM to head back to Hotel VT.
The Reception

After the ceremony, a shuttle bus will take you from outside SJC, to Hotel Vermont to continue the festivities. The reception will be held primarily outdoors on the Brick patio space, which is essentially Hotel Vermont's backyard There will be a cocktail hour upon arrival, with passed appetizers and signature cocktail offerings, followed by a hosted open bar offering wine, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages all night long. Dinner will be served family style without a formal seating plan, although there will be plenty of tables for sitting to eat, so dining will be casual and served in a grazing style - inclusive of passed appetizers upon arrival to the reception. Our pal Ben Blanchard, DJ BlanchFace, will be playing tunes for us and keeping the dance floor alive all night long. There will also be a guest book and Polaroid cameras upon arrival, as well as disposable cameras scattered around tables. We would love it if you use them to capture moments throughout the celebration!

The Day After Brunch

Kick back with us for brunch, nurse hangovers, and bask in the post-wedding revelry for a few hours in the late morning/early afternoon at the restaurant inside of Hotel Vermont, Juniper. Juniper will be offering their normal brunch service which is open to the public, so seating will be first come, first serve in the restaurant, lounge, and patio. There will not be grouped seating for wedding attendees, so we encourage you to arrive with your group and grab seating as you’re able. Alternatively, you can make a reservation via the Juniper website to guarantee seating for you and your group. While their brunch hours are 7AM - 1PM on Sundays, we will head down from our hotel room to dine and hang at 11 or 11:30AM. This will be a casual BYOB (buy your own brunch) to come and go from as you please, so anyone from the wedding is welcome to join us for a bite and to decompress for a few hours! Please contact the hotel with any specific questions about their brunch service.
