WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?

Answer

The dress code is bold and bright 🪩 Flashy color in whatever style of formal outfit inspires you - suits, jumpsuits, gowns, cocktail dresses, etc. Make it colorful & dress to impress 🌈

CAN I BRING A DATE?

Answer

If your wedding invitation specifies an optional plus one, please do! If your invitation does not specify a plus one, we kindly ask that you refrain from bringing a date with you.

ARE KIDS INVITED?

Answer

While we adore the kids in our circles, our wedding weekend is adults only unless it explicitly states otherwise on your invitation/RSVP page. Thank you for understanding!

ARE THE EVENTS OUTDOORS?

Answer

Yes, all of the events for the wedding are primarily outdoors! We will have rain plans on the back burner should we need them, and there will be space at Hotel Vermont to be inside intermittently, but the ceremony and most of the reception will all be outside so please dress/plan accordingly.

WHAT TRANSPORTATION OPTIONS ARE AVAILABLE TO THE CEREMONY & BACK TO THE RECEPTION?

While Uber is readily available throughout the city, we would love for you to make use of the complimentary shuttle/party bus we're offering to our wedding guests for travel to and from the ceremony and reception! The bus will pick folks up outside of Hotel VT at 3:15PM to bring them to the St. John's Club for the ceremony at 4:00. After the ceremony, the bus will pick everyone up again at SJC at 4:45PM to bring them back to Hotel VT for the reception. Someone will be present to notify folks about the bus departure from the ceremony to the reception when the time comes!

WHAT DOES PARKING LOOK LIKE AT THE EVENTS?

Answer

There is very limited public parking on-site for the ceremony at the St. John's Club in their parking lot, on Lakeview Drive, and the surrounding streets. There is a parking garage (paid by the hour or overnight) at the Marriott and Hotel Vermont, as well as metered street parking surrounding Hotel Vermont. However, we encourage folks to take the complimentary shuttle provided from Hotel Vermont to SJC for the ceremony (detailed above), and the same shuttle back to Hotel VT for the reception afterward to avoid the headache of parking!

CAN FOOD ALLERGIES BE ACCOMODATED WITH THE CATERING?

Answer

Of course! Please let us know well in advance of any food allergies you may have so that we can ensure that the chefs catering the events have plenty of notice to accommodate the allergies as they are able. However, there will be a diverse enough offering of food that there should be something for every dietary preference or need.
