Flight
Charlotte is the hub for American Airlines but does have other options for airlines. For all guests, there are direct flight options from the major cities from which you will all be coming from. Please do your research and look earlier as oppose to later!
Travel Note
While the wedding is in Monroe, all other activities for the weekend will be closer to downtown. With the airport on the West side of the city, our biggest suggestion here is to stay near the main highway of which the ceremony is easily accessed, Highway 74 or Independence Boulevard. Top neighborhoods include: Cotswold, Plaza Midwood, Chantilly, Country Club Heights, Dilworth, Markham Village, and Elizabeth. If you are looking closer to the venue, we suggest staying in: Matthews, Weddington, Waxhaw, and Monroe.

Train
The light rail is Charlottes main train system that runs North-South through the center of the city. This is a great way to venture throughout the city with ease. Use it to jump from NoDa- the artsy section of the city- to South End- the popping place for new restaurants, bars and massive outdoor breweries.
