Question
Standing ceremony? Really?!
Answer
Yes! We will have a few chairs for folks who need a seat but most people will be standing in the lawn for our quick, ten minute ceremony. We'll have a treat for you at the end!

What is the dress code?
Answer
We ask for cocktail attire, but please wear something you will be comfortable in with the weather in mind. There will be some standing and walking on lawn so pick shoes carefully!

Can we tour the exhibits?
Answer
Yes! American Swedish Institute closes to the public at 5, and we will be ready for your 6 o'clock arrival. During cocktail hour you will be able to tour the entire mansion including the new Vikings Begin exhibit.

Parking on site?

American Swedish Institute has a big parking lot. There will be no issues with parking for those who drive.

Are childern welcomed?
Answer
We would like our wedding to be an excuse for a romantic date night for our friends and family who are better known as "mom" and "dad." We hope you are able to get a sitter and enjoy an intimate evening with us!

Why is there no red wine wine or cola?!
Answer
Because of their staining qualities red wine and brown colas will not be served in the mansion. They will however, be available during the dinner and dance in Larson Hall.
