We recommend renting an automatic car for the drive from Athens to Patras. We used Athens Car Rental on our most recent trip to Greece and had a great experience. Their representative met us in baggage claim and had our rental car waiting just outside the airport, making the pickup process quick and easy.

Accommodations

Patras offers a wide variety of Airbnb and hotel accommodations to fit different budgets and travel styles. Since guests will be staying for varying lengths of time, we will not be reserving a formal hotel room block. This gives everyone the flexibility to choose the accommodations that best fit their travel plans. If you're planning to book an Airbnb, we recommend staying in the Rio area of Patras, which is conveniently located near our wedding events. If you'd prefer a hotel, we recommend one of the following: -Airotel Achaia Beach: A beachfront hotel located in Rio, just a short walk from our Welcome Party. Nearby cafés, seaside restaurants, the beach, and the waterfront promenade make it a great option for those looking for a more relaxed coastal stay. -Mercure Patras Astir: Located in the heart of downtown Patras, this hotel is within walking distance of restaurants, shopping, cafés, and many of the city's attractions.
