OPA! WE'RE GETTING MARRIED

Maddy and Dimitri met during their junior year at the University of Missouri–Columbia (Go Tigers!). As senior year rolled around, the two found themselves drawn together through countless concerts, trips, and — after much anticipation — Dimitri finally asking Maddy to formal. The rest, as they say, is history. Their shared love of music and travel continued to shape their story over the years, taking them to Chicago, Los Angeles, Sherwood Forest, Lake Tahoe, Charleston, San Diego, Punta Cana, Phoenix, Montana, Mexico, Greece — and eventually Japan. Along the way, they built a life rooted in adventure, laughter, and unforgettable memories. In May of 2023, Maddy and Dimitri made Austin, Texas their home, creating the life they’d always dreamed of — spending weekends at concerts, forming meaningful friendships, and growing their family by two with the adoption of their adorable kitties, Pepper and Chili. After nearly eight years together, Dimitri asked Maddy to marry him at 7:00 AM on April 7, 2025, beneath a blooming cherry blossom tree in Kyoto, Japan. Their next great adventure brings them — and all of you — to Greece in September 2027, where they can’t wait to celebrate their love and begin this new chapter together.
