Travel Note
DC is a pedestrian and public transportation friendly city. It's fairly small so many places will be within a 15-20 minute walk, or a quick train or bus ride away. Purchase a SmartTrip at any Metro Station to use the buses and rails. Google Maps is well integrated to provide updated timestables or visit wmata.com for more information. DC also has it's fare share (RIDE SHARING APP PUN) of ride sharing options with Uber, Lyft and Via among the most popular. They also often offer discount codes for first time riders.
