Wedding Party

Landon Drewes

Best Man

My second oldest friend, Landon and I met in Kindergarten at good ole Tinora. We played every sport together, visited each other at our respective county fairs and even had twin Mustangs as our first cars. I also text him every Saturday asking him to reassure me that our Buckeyes will be victorious and he obliges. Landon is a friend for life and I'm honored for him to be my Best Man! Throw him an "O-H!" at the wedding reception to test his Buckeye fan-hood.

Fritz Vogel

Man of Honor

Fritz and I met on November 29, 1994 and have been best friends ever since! Favorite memories of ours range from summers with our cousins at the pool, being on all the same teams/clubs/choirs/band in high school, traveling through Patagonia and now living in the same Chicago neighborhood!

Brett Wonders

Groomsman

My oldest friend, Brett and I hung out A LOT growing up. We lived one mile from each other, went to the same church that was between our houses and were coached in every sport by Brett's dad. He's my fellow Detroit Tigers' fan and my carpool buddy when I come back home to Defiance. If you need a talking point with Brett while at the wedding, just bring up the WWE and let him educate you on the glories of the sport.

Nikki Zarling

Bridesmaid

Nikki and I met at the first social event of medical school and a few runs later we were inseparable. She pushed me through studying for boards, was my long-run buddy during marathon training and has talked me off the cliff of pandemic wedding planned insanity more than once. She now lives in Seattle, WA where she is an internal medicine resident but is always a text or snapchat away!

Connor Griffith

Groomsman

A friendship forged at 4-H camp, Connor and I met because we decided to learn the toughest line dance of them all - Footloose. This love of dancing also led to Connor co-planning Tinora's first ever Dance Marathon. Now living in Seattle, Connor is living the dream with his dog, Otis. Look out for Connor cutting a rug on the dance floor at our wedding reception! Footloose will definitely be played.

Zoë Page

Bridesmaid

Zoë and I have been friends since we met at her 3rd birthday party which was, let's be real, more about the moms having drinks together than us at the time but we have been friends ever since. I can't think of a major life milestone we haven't experienced together so it is especially fitting that we will be celebrating our weddings just two weeks apart!

Tyler McKenney

Groomsman

A year behind me at Tinora and two years behind Connor Griffith, Tyler rounded out our self-proclaimed trio known as CCT. From campfires in our backyards talking about life to playing on the baseball diamond, Tyler has always been there to laugh at my ridiculous jokes with his recognizable laugh while also being a friend you can talk about anything with. Make sure to ask Tyler about the beauty of Maine in the summer at his family's cabin, as he'll describe such a perfect summer night that you may end up booking a trip to Maine yourself.

MacKenzie Eliszewski

Bridesmaid

MacKenzie and I became friends when she and Zoë started playing volleyball together in middle school (everyone knows you'd never have caught me on the court). When started as a little bit of friend jealousy (you know, middle school girls) turned into a lifelong friendship that has endured through high school, undergrad, medical school/pharmacy school and now motherhood for Kenz and her sweet daughter, Hazel!

Wes Taylor

Groomsman

Wes quickly became a great friend of mine after we both were members of Mount Leadership Society and Founding Fathers of our fraternity, Delta Sigma Phi, at Ohio State. He's an ambitious lad that continues to impress as he tackles a full time role with Junior Achievement among many volunteer leadership positions all while finding time to host friends like Savannah and I when we role into Columbus, OH for a Buckeye game. If you run into Wes at the wedding, ask him about his solo skydiving experience in college.

Kaley Gyorfi

Bridesmaid

Kaley and I, along with Kirsten, met on our first day of medical school when we were placed in the same small group and have been besties since then! Favorite memories with Kaley include our recent trip to Puerto Rico, watching (read: falling asleep during) Sunday football games on their couch after a long day of studying. Kaley currently lives in Madison and is an OB/GYN resident.

Anthony Szuhay

Groomsman

It took me 3 years at Ohio State, but I finally got Anthony to join Delta Sigma Phi. The longest recruitment cycle EVER. We even walked backwards at Ohio State together as University Ambassadors, so ask us for a fun fact about our great alma mater, if you'd like. Anthony was also the very first friend to meet Savannah after he drove 8+ hours to visit me in Rochester, NY, so he was truly there when it all began. Aside from complimenting his suave hair, ask him about his experience bartending in D.C. as the Washington Nationals won the World Series this past year.

Kirsten Gunderson

Bridesmaid

KG and I met, along with Kaley, in our med school small group. We quickly bonded over our love for all-things Wisconsin and our friendship formed over study dates and Wisconsin football tailgates. Favorite memories include trips to Belize and Puerto Rico with our husbands, summer pool parties at the Gunderson's and throwing Kaley's rehearsal dinner with the key assist of the Gunderson Funeral Home hearse van for transportation.

Nick Lascu

Groomsman

I feel like any conversation with Nick will guarantee a laugh, a fact about the great city of Cleveland and a challenge for you to do something. We also look fairly similar and yes, random people have asked if we're brothers. I'll always remember taking Nick to his first barn party out in the country. I think it was everything he expected. With Nick, I know I'll always be welcomed to Cleveland, even if I'm a Detroit fan. Feel free to bring up the Cleveland Browns' mediocre season with him at the wedding.

Annie Hornung

Bridesmaid

Annie and I were destined to be besties after we were assigned to start a chapter of Theta together in Rochester, NY as Educational Leadership Consultants (ELCs). What other outcome can you expect with two 23-year-olds living together, working 80-hours per week on an insane project in a city where the know no one!? Annie also had a MAJOR (ask her about it) role in Cody and my early dating so where else could she possibly be but at my side on our wedding day!
