Ryan's go-to response for men has been: "Look sharp. No jeans. Ties welcome, but optional." If that doesn't do it for you, think: "job interview at a bank" or "something Paul Rudd would wear to a press junket." Google Says: "Winter formal wedding attire means elegant, floor-length gowns or sophisticated cocktail dresses in rich fabrics like velvet, satin, or brocade, using deep jewel tones (emerald, ruby) or metallics, plus warm accessories like pashminas, capes, or stylish coats to stay cozy, with men typically in tuxedos or dark suits. The key is luxurious textures, deeper colors, and thoughtful layering for both warmth and style, avoiding summer fabrics and bright pastels." It would be hilarious if someone actually showed up in a tux. I fully support it.
