Gritty's is our "Cheers." Stop in any time, grab some dinner, and settle into town with the locals. We will be there following our rehearsal dinner, so roughly by 7:30. One of our favorite local musicians, Travis James Humphrey, will be playing from 7:30-10:30. It is family-friendly, and we'd love to see you there!

Spend the morning on Friday catching up on work or rest from travel or check the Things-to-Do list for breakfast and lunch recommendations and explore Greater Portland in wintertime, without all the tourists. Then get gussied up and ready for the Maine event…. 4:30pm - Guest Seating Arrive at the Portland Masonic Temple, check your coats, boots & hats, and grab a seat on either side of the aisle. 5:00pm - Wedding Ceremony The ceremony kicks off at 5:00 sharp and it won't last long, so you don't want to be late! 5:30pm - Cocktail Hour Passed and stationary hors d'oeuvres, full bar, specialty cocktails, and good old fashioned good times. Enjoy while we're out snapping photos. 6:30pm - Reception Music, Dancing, Dinner, Toasts, and More Dancing right up until they kick us out at 10:30pm!

For those of you who travel far, we want to make the trip worth it for the whole weekend and there are many recommendations on the Things-to-Do page. We, the newlyweds, will have a slow morning to ourselves and plan to emerge from our winter slumber around lunchtime to Explore the Point! Here's where we think we will be at Thompson's Point: 12:00-ish: Lunch at Bissell Brothers ~ Cryptozoology Museum ~ Maker's Market (Free Entry, 10am-6pm) ~ Children's Museum ~ Whatever strikes our fancy 4:30-6:30pm - Ice Skating and Snacks in the Yurt (tickets available starting Sunday, Feb 1st) Visit the Thompson's Point website (www.thompsonspoint.com/explore) to learn how to get there (10min from wedding venue) and all the great things there are to do, from Color Me Mine and the ArtMap to coffee, cocktails and more.

Please contact us if you plan to join for the Ski, Aprés and/or Stay portion of our wedding weekend. We will be departing from Portland for Sunday River late morning Sunday, 2/8, after hotel check out and will be there through Tuesday afternoon. The River is our Happy Place and we'd love to share & enjoy it with you!
