Nicole and I go way back — like 2008 middle-school fashion disaster back. We met during our most awkward, cringey, puberty-filled era, when eyeliner was thick and fashion sense was… nonexistent. But unlike our questionable style choices, our friendship has stood the test of time. Seventeen years later, she’s still my ride-or-die. She’s seen me through everything — the military, college, heartbreaks (we don’t talk about some of those boyfriends), and now this beautiful chapter with Sakri. Even though she lives halfway across the world, she’s never felt far from my heart. There is truly no one else I could imagine standing by my side as my Matron of Honor. Nicole, I love you to the moon, back, and probably a few galaxies beyond.
