Feel free to reach out to us about any travel questions you may have! Here are some of our travel suggestions:

Flight

MAD to VGO

We recommend flying into Madrid (MAD) and taking a short connecting flight to Vigo (VGO)—it’s usually the most affordable and efficient route, with a flight time of about 1 hour and 20 minutes. From Vigo, it’s only about a 25-minute drive to Pontevedra, the closest major town to our venue in Bueu (which is roughly 30 minutes from Pontevedra). Pontevedra offers plenty of accommodation options, making it a great home base for the weekend!

Flight

BCN to VGO

Another option is to fly into Barcelona (BCN) and connect to Vigo (VGO), but keep in mind that this route is typically 3–4 hours long and more expensive than flying through Madrid.

Train

Madrid-Chamartín-Clara Campoamor station to Pontevedra station

There is the option to take a train from Madrid to Pontevedra, though it may take 3-4 hours and can sometimes cost a bit more.

Flight

MAD/BCN TO SCQ

There are also smaller regional airports (like SCQ) near Pontevedra— the drive to Pontevedra might be 45 mins - 1 hour long. So feel free to choose whatever works best for your trip and budget!

Rental Car

Expedia

To make the most of your trip, we highly recommend renting a car while you’re in the area! There’s so much to see and explore, and having a car often ends up being more cost-efficient than relying on taxis or transfers. Feel free to carpool or share a ride with other guests you know—or, if you’re feeling fancy, go ahead and snag your own set of wheels. 😉 Rental prices for about 5 days typically range from 150–250 euros, depending on how boujee of a car you decide to cruise around in. Tip: Before booking, check with your credit card company to see if they offer rental car discounts, rewards points, or insurance coverage perks—you might score a great deal (and some extra peace of mind)!
