Garden party wedding attire blends semi-formal style with outdoor practicality. The dress code calls for breathable, lightweight fabrics, nature-inspired or pastel colors, floral prints, and grass-friendly footwear. Key options include knee-length or midi dresses, or dressy skirts and tops for women. For men, a collared shirt paired with chinos or trousers is appropriate, with ties being optional. Please no white and no jeans (unless you’re a kiddo).
For the ceremony, there is a parking lot located on the east side behind the church, with ADA spaces available. There is an additional parking lot diagonally southwest from the church or paid parking along the streets on Cal Poly Humboldt’s campus. For the reception, please carpool if you can, there will be limited street parking in the neighborhood around the Gross Family Home. We will have some friends directing folks on where to park.
During the ceremony, we ask that you put away the phones and be present with us as we make this commitment. We have a professional photographer who will capture everything beautifully, and there will be plenty of opportunity to take photos at the reception.
Joining us to celebrate our marriage means the most to us. If you would like to contribute towards our future home as well, we have selected some items we think would make a great addition.
