Born just a day before Sebastian, Katie instantly bonded with the fellow Ohio Virgo. Katie lives in Cleveland with her husband, Matthew and is a trained chemist currently working as the Senior Quality Manager for STERIS Medical Device Company.

Karen is a badass Air Force pilot and a daily inspiration for Sarah on how to be a better friend, sister, and hopefully wife and mother someday. She is married to Sarah's brother, David, and they are the proud parents to Sophia and Emilia and their puppy, Luna. She is an Olmsted Scholar currently studying Korean to move with the family to South Korea this fall.

Jade is Sarah's sister-in-law, married to Sarah's brother, Jon. She is an accomplished dentist and the calming presence everyone needs in their life. Her eye for detail has been an inspiration for Sarah through the planning process. Jade and Jon live in Austin with their baby girl, Scarlett and of course Pinto.

Casey is one of Sarah's oldest friends. They grew up together in Sewickley, PA and bonded over their shared love of Coldplay, lacrosse, Twilight, and creating remakes of the film National Treasure. Casey is a pediatric dentist in Pittsburgh, PA where she currently lives with her husband, Joe.

Emma is one of Sarah's best friends from the Air Force Academy and parachute team, Wings of Blue. Missilieer by trade, Emma is now back at the Academy teaching cadets how to have a moral compass as a philosophy instructor. She currently lives in Colorado Springs with her wife, EP, and puppy Bandit.

Charlene is one of Sarah's best friends from the Air Force Academy where they were on the Wings of Blue then pilot training after graduation. Charlene is an A-10 fighter pilot, but is currently teaching young cadets how to skydive and flies the mighty Twin Otter with her husband, Chad. They live in Colorado Springs with their two kittens, Ralph and Gretchen.

Theodore has been Sebastian's best friend and older brother since 1992. They were roommates from shortly after Sebastian's birth, until Theodore graduated from Miami University, a year before Sebastian, in 2014. Theodore lives in Ohio with his wife, Tabitha, and two sons, Quinn and Grant. As well as their herd of cats and pack of dogs.

Alex is one of Sebastian's oldest friends, growing up together in the thriving metropolis of Springfield, Ohio. They became fast friends with similar interests in pretty much everything. He might not look like much, but Alex has gone on to become a doctor and will soon be a fully fledged Orthopedic Surgeon. He lives in Dayton with his wife, Cari, and four sons.

Lucas is one of Sebastian's forty-three total cousins. Bracketed in age by Theodore and Sebastian, he acted like the third Monnin son growing up in Springfield, OH. He now lives in Knoxville with his wife, Somer, and daughter, Everett. He owns a thriving plumbing and excavation business and moonlights as an OR nurse.

Collin was Sebastian's pilot training roommate for two years while they lived in Columbus, MS. They moved to Columbus the same day and were busy day drinking wine together in their Officers quarters two days later. Collin now lives in Altus, OK with his wife Erika where he flies the KC-135.

Jake and his wife, Marissa, were part of the Columbus, MS crew of pilot training friends. Jake and Marissa actually invited Sebastian, Collin, John, and Jess to their wedding two weeks after meeting them in 2016. Jake is now an F-15E pilot out in Boise, while Marissa spends her time working as a lawyer and keeping their ancient dog, River, alive.

John and his wife Jess were Sebastian's adopted parents during pilot training in Mississippi. After training the group met back up for their first operational assignments at RAF Lakenheath in England, where for a few days Jess almost let them all be roommates. John used to be a real man as an Eagle Driver, but alas the Air Force had different plans. John now flies the F-35. After a stop in Utah, they are once again back at Lakenheath. John and Jess are the parents to two lovely kids, Addie and Fletcher.
