Fly to Naples

Fly to Naples (NAP – Capodichino). This is the closest airport to the city and the easiest option for most guests. The airport has frequent connections across Europe and long-haul options. Take a licensed taxi (they are white, wait until you are at the top the queue...) from Naples Airport directly to Vomero. It’s the simplest option~25–35 minutes depending on traffic. Taxis don't always take card, so have some cash (c.€30).

Flight

Fly to Rome

Other airport options with easy rail links are Rome Fiumicino (FCO) and Rome Ciampino (CIA). From Roma Termini to Napoli Centrale, fastest services take ~55–70 min (Italo/Frecciarossa).

Where to stay

Vomero (near the ceremony): There are many great Airbnbs and boutique hotels easy for getting to the venue. City centre: Look around Toledo/Municipio (straight journey on Line 1 to Vanvitelli) Seafront: Via Partenope/Via Nazario Sauro (quick taxi/funicular up to Vomero). Areas to avoid: areas surrounding central train station, Piazza Garibaldi.

Travel Note

Taxis

Taxis are the easiest way to move to and from the airport. Taxi ranks can be found across the city, but you can also use different apps (GOxGO and Freenow) to hail or prebook one.
