Vomero (our venue & groom’s neighbourhood)

Naples, Campania, Italy

Perched above the city with big views and leafy streets, the main street via Scarlatti is lined with bars to sit and enjoy a Spritz & a bite. Things to do: Castel Sant’Elmo & Belvedere San Martino: the postcard view of Naples, Vesuvius and the bay. Villa Floridiana: a tranquil park, perfect for a stroll between coffees. Naples must-sees (if you have extra time)

Take the Funicolare from Vomero down to the Historic centre (Spaccanapoli), The Cloister of Santa Chiara, Cappella Sansevero (Veiled Christ), Galleria Umberto, Lungomare and Piazza del Plebiscito.

Day trips & easy escapes

Capri by ferry — Boats run from Molo Beverello (and Calata Porta di Massa) with operators like NLG, SNAV and Caremar. It’s an easy there-and-back day if you set off early. Plan for scenic travel time and lots of photo stops.

Special mention from the Bride: Christmas Street 🎄

Those who know the bride know she is passionate about collecting Christmas decorations. Naples literally has a street for that: Via San Gregorio Armeno (aka “the nativity street”), lined year-round with tiny workshops selling handcrafted ornaments and presepe figurines. Now you know why they chose Naples..
