FAQsFAQs

Question

What weather should I pack for? What weather should I pack for?

Answer

This… this is sort of THE Alaska question, especially for the month of September. Seward is a coastal town, and part of a conical rainforest. So it could be 65F and GORGEOUS, or 45F with a nice strong salty breeze and deluged with glorious rain showers. Be sure to consider bringing a pair of xtratuffs, deck boots or bean boots to the wedding. The venue is outdoors, semi woods and semi beach. We would also STRONGLY advise to bring rain jackets, puffy jackets, and clothing you don’t mind getting a little dirty in. It is the last frontier after all :) For the little ones?! Muddy-buddy. Picture onesie snow suit, but it’s a rain suit! Check them out online by Morrison Outdoors or Amazon

Question

How can I fish as a non-Alaska resident?How can I fish as a non-Alaska resident?

Answer

These can be purchased online, at most any outdoors store or even the grocery stores at customer service. If you’re thinking about booking a charter, a personal fishing license is still required. Be aware that much of the season ends August 31st.

Question

How will I be able to keep the photos taken during the wedding? How will I be able to keep the photos taken during the wedding?

Answer

The photographer working the wedding will be posting a full compilation of the days photos on their site, and attached here to ours. These photos will be available for you or loved ones to purchase individually or selected photos book bound and shipped to your home. Many leather bound books and smells of rich mahogany.
