We're getting Married!

Sarah and Nicolas crossed paths when Sarah was 16 and Nicolas was 17, as Nicolas traveled from Roatan, Honduras, to attend Georgia Cumberland Academy for his junior and senior years. Although they knew of each other, it wasn't until the end of their junior year that they became close friends. Throughout the summer and into senior year, their friendship grew stronger, spending homeleaves and weekends together. As they cherished their bond, they both developed feelings for each other but were hesitant to risk their friendship. However, their connection became undeniable, and they embarked on a new chapter, embracing the possibility of a romantic relationship.

Nicolas and Sarah's love story began on a mission trip in Ecuador during their senior year. As they spent more time together, their feelings grew stronger. Everyone noticed their connection and wondered when they would make it official. At a beautiful waterfall in Los Baños, Ecuador, Nicolas pulled Sarah to the side and confessed his feelings. There they shared their first kiss, marking the beginning of their romantic journey.

Nicolas and Sarah's proposal story took place in Roatan, Honduras, on Sarah's birthday. They started the day with a horseback riding adventure on the beach, followed by a couples massage in an oceanfront bungalow. As the sun began to set, they had a romantic dinner on the beach. As they “waited for their table”, Nicolas suggested to walk on the dock at sunset, and at the end of the dock Nicolas got down on one knee, proposed, and had a hidden photographer capture the moment. Sarah tearfully said yes. It was a memory they would treasure forever.
