The Clark Institute is a world-renowned museum right in Williamstown. In addition to having amazing art, the Clark has great landscape architecture and maintains great walking trails on Stone Hill behind the museum
Mass MoCA is an amazing modern art museum in renovated mill buildings in North Adams with one of the largest centers for contemporary visual art and performing arts in the United States. After your visit, stop into the taproom at Bright Ideas Brewing on the MASS MoCA campus, where you can sample unique brews like Guava Mangose (or get one to go)
This museum is home to the world’s largest collection of the artist’s work, along with more than 100,000 items like photos, letters, fan mail, and personal calendars in the museum’s archives. You can also tour Rockwell’s last studio—he lived in Stockbridge for the last 25 years of his life, drawing inspiration from the community for many of his later works
A 15-acre botanical garden in Stockbridge with collections that contain over 3,000 species and varieties with an emphasis on plants that thrive in the Berkshires makes these botanical gardens a wonderful spot to visit in the fall
The Mount was Edith Wharton's country house in Lenox, MA. She personally designed the house and its grounds and considered it her "first real home." The estate, as well as the beautiful grounds and gardens, is open to the public to tour (this is where we had our engagement shoot!)
Chesterwood was the summer estate and studio of American sculptor Daniel Chester French that now is open to the public to tour in addition to walking the gardens that hold beautiful outdoor art sculpture exhibitions
Pine Cobble is a favorite hike in Williamstown with beautiful views of town and the surrounding area. The trail is a moderate 3 miles round trip, with a pretty steep final climb to the summit.
At 3,491 feet, Mount Greylock is the highest point in Massachusetts. From its peak on a clear day, you can see as far as 90 miles away. There are many trails up Mt. Greylock. The closest options from Williamstown start from the top of Hopper Rd. If you want to do a shorter hike from that trailhead, Stony Ledge also features incredible views and is a shorter (but steep) trip. There are also options to drive to the summit to take in the view

The Taconic Clubhouse, established in 1955, is located in the center of Williamstown and within walking distance of the Williams Inn. The full service restaurant is open to the public and serves luncheon and dinner during the golfing season. Grab a quick bite or a cocktail on their terraces overlooking the Taconic golf course and enjoy one of the best vistas in the area.
Pera Bistro specializes in Mediterranean food in the heart of downtown Williamstown. They also offer vegan and gluten-free options for any diners with dietary restrictions.
