Sarah and Mike met at the beginning of Freshman year at Colgate University. Mike's roommate, Matt, was also a friend of Sarah's from back home in Ridgewood and introduced the two of us. We started out as just friends but then as fate would have it, we ended up having three classes together between Freshman and Sophomore year. Mike would ask Sarah to grab breakfast before class and sometimes we would study for exams together. Finally on Halloween, Mike (dressed up as the Cowardly Lion for pledging) drove Sarah (dressed up as a ladybug for reasons still unbeknownst to her of why she chose that costume) home from a party and we had our first kiss. The rest is history.

Mike proposed to Sarah at the Portland Lighthouse last August in Cape Elizabeth. Maine is where we first went on vacation during our early days of dating and have continued to return to together over the years and it now holds an even more special place in our hearts. We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter of our lives with you!
