I’m Laura, Sarah’s older sister. Growing up, Sarah and I were inseparable, and I feel fortunate to live near her and Jake now. My husband and I have a daughter named Finley, who was born on January 1. As an emergency veterinarian in downtown Philadelphia, I have plenty of interesting stories to share, come chat with me if you’re curious. I’m thrilled to celebrate this joyous occasion with Jake, Sarah, and all of their wedding guests!

I’m Chris, Laura’s husband and Jake+Sarah’s brother-in-law. I’m a small-animal veterinarian practicing at clinics across Philadelphia. I spend my days caring for our daughter and working on our house with my dad. I enjoy weight-lifting, cooking, and spending time with family, especially making Finley giggle. We have a black cat, Zorro, who loves us but dislikes other animals.

I’m Arielle, Sarah’s sister in law and wife to her big brother, Daniel. I’m also mom to two wonderful girls, Hazel and Ruby! When I’m not working or chasing my kids around, I’m an avid knitter, gardener, and fantasy audiobook listener. I am overjoyed for Sarah and Jake and can’t wait to celebrate their love for decades to come!

Hi, I am Daniel, I am Sarah's big brother, and soon to be brother-in-law to Jake. I am a trained chef, musician and father of two wonderful girls, Hazel and Ruby. My wife, Arielle means the world to me, as do my two little girls. I am so happy for Sarah and Jake, they are a great match! They are so incredibly compatible, and fantastic together. I can't wait to celebrate the big day with them!

I met Sarah several years ago during a clinical rotation for grad school and the rest is history! I enjoy playing magic-the-gathering, going on hikes, running, watching videos about astronomy, and learning more about the mind, our behaviors, and mental health in general. I especially love hanging out with Sarah, Jake and my husband when we go for little adventures! I am sooo excited for the upcoming wedding day, and am excited to meet everyone who will be celebrating them alongside us."

Hello, my name is Derek and I have been friends with Jake and Sarah for almost 2 years now. I am a Navy Veteran who loves going to local cafés and trying out new experiences. If I’m not out and about on the weekend, I usually can be found playing games on my computer. This new experience of being friends with Jake and Sarah has been wonderful. What started off as my wife’s (Natani) work friend has become an integral part of our lives. I’m so happy to enjoy this next experience with you two!

Hi! I’m Amy, Sarah’s second cousin. I grew up in Philly, a long way from Sarah in Florida. Our grandmothers were sisters and best friends, and nothing would make them happier than knowing we all ended up living in the same city and becoming so close. I run a small leatherworking business with my partner, Doug, and I’m beginning a grad program in clinical social work. I love to paint, drink matcha, and make sarcastic jokes that Sarah doesn’t get. And I can’t wait to boogie the night away to celebrate Sarah and Jake!

I’m Doug, partner of Amy (Sarah’s cousin), and pretty honored to be in the wedding party! Since moving to Philly, Jake and I have become fast friends, logging a lot of conversational miles in the Wissahickon, and other adventures in urban exploration. Originally a New Yorker, I have been many things: a corrupt crossing guard, Peace Corps Volunteer, sidewalk astronomer, zine publisher, theater producer, restaurant photographer, and museum director. Now I sew leather bags and backpacks for the Doug X Amy creative collab known as Spartan Carry.

From their middle school days making home videos to navigating college life and finding new adventures, Sarah and Jordan were basically a package deal. Dance classes, summer camp shenanigans, road trips, and musical theater productions—you name it, they were in it together! Their bond was so tight, they even snagged the "Cutest Couple" superlative back in the day. Jordan can't wait to stand by Sarah as she enters into this new chapter of life and marries her love.

Hi, I’m Nicole Hagler! I live in Florida with my husband Taylor and my two children Dorian and Pennie. I am a third grade teacher and lover of nature and napping. Sarah and I met in high school and have had countless adventures including dancing all night long at music festivals and living with 2 other girls in a one bedroom house. I’m excited to be part of Sarah and Jake’s special day. I’m honored to be one of Sarah’s bridesmaids and grateful to be able to cheer her on as she marries the love of her life.

Hi! I’m Rachel Hartman —Jake’s younger (and only) sister, and soon-to-be Sarah’s sister-in-law! I’ve been living in San Francisco since 2018, where I love exploring the amazing food scene, hiking, and spending time in the city’s beautiful parks (Dolores Park is a favorite—just a few blocks from my apartment). I work in Partnerships at Pottery Barn and am currently having a lot of fun decorating a new apartment that I share with my boyfriend, Joe. I can’t wait to celebrate and dance the night away with everyone this November!

When I’m not at the beach, I’m working as a diamond and watch dealer, experimenting in the kitchen, or planning my next international trip. I’ve known Jake since preschool, and I’m honored to stand by his side on his big day.
