We love visiting the Barnes and highly recommend visiting if you enjoy art museums. Read below for more info (excerpt taken from the Barnes website): “…Home to one of the world’s finest collections of impressionist, post-impressionist, and modern paintings, the Barnes integrates art and objects from across cultures and time periods... The intimacy and unique character of the Barnes’s galleries …provide a haven for exploration, discovery, and rediscovery, no matter one’s background or familiarity with art.”
Description: children’s hands on museum that encourages learning. We’ve visited with our niece Hazel and she loved it! Age range: “Generally, the Museum is best for children from about six months through age 8. We have created fun learning environments for infants, toddlers, preschoolers and early elementary-age children. Slightly older children often have fun acting as “teachers” for their younger siblings and playmates.”
A great place to walk around and see important landmarks in US history.
I ( Sarah), highly recommend the lemon bar DF flavor. It’s delicious! The regular ice cream is also delicious!
Lots of good seating, coffee, and lite fare. Only downside is no WiFi but we use our hotspots.
