Rafael Nuñez International Airport (CTG)

When booking your flight, make sure your final destination is Cartagena. Airport code: CTG. You may need to make a connection as there are only direct flights from Miami/ Ft. Lauderdale, New York, ATL. The airport (CTG) is a 10 minute drive to the “ciudad amurallada" ( Walled City) where the wedding festivities will be held. A taxi will cost about 20,000 ( COP), which is under $10 dollars.

We put together a list of great AirB&Bs inside of the walled city, if you're in the mood of a more home-away-from-home feel vs. a hotel! (Just Click "View", below). If you choose to do this option, just make sure you pick one in the old city close to all the wedding festivities for convenience. Bovedas de Santa Clara Hotel Boutique

It’s located almost next door to the Sofitel, where the reception will be held and allows you to use all the Sofitel amenities. This is a boutique hotel, so it’s much smaller but still quite luxurious. You can book this on tripadvisor.com or go to the Accorhotels website and sign up for member rates, this will lower the rates by 10%.

Another highly recommended hotel. It's only a block from the ceremony and about 5 blocks from the reception. It's located within Cartagena's Old City, steps from both the colonial-era downtown and trendy Getsemaní district Sip a chilled limonada de coco by the rooftop pool, which offers 360-degree views of the Caribbean and picturesque Old City
