2024: After getting engaged in Austin, we took a vacation to explore New Zealand’s North Island.The upside of jet lag is that we were awake at dawn to enjoy the sunrise at a beach in Waitakere!

2021: Working in Death Valley for one of Sarah’s PhD projects. We’re smiling here in front of a ~600 million-year-old rock deposited by an ancient river, which we mapped over the Nopah Range.

2020: We celebrated the New Year in Lincoln, NM enjoying (?) green chile wine, beautiful scenery and some cute burros.
