FAQs

The Wedding Website of Sarah Straub and Charles Smith
If you have any questions that are not found on this website, please reach out to either Charles or Sarah. As we get closer to the wedding date, we'll put in another contact number so we can enjoy our day!
Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

We're registered on Zola: https://www.zola.com/registry/sarahandcharlesmay28

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

It's May in Texas so we want you to be comfortable. Garden attire is recommended and the gentlemen definitely don't need to wear a jacket.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If you have a plus 1 on your invitation, please do!

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Yes. But please let us know in advance if they are coming. We want you to have fun and have a worry free night, so if that means bringing the kids, please do. Family is very important to us -- AND kids still factor in to our overall numbers. Please RSVP accordingly.

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

The Gruene River Hotel and Retreat is BEAUTIFUL! We are not doing a hotel block though so check Gruene out a bit. There are some amazing VRBOs and AirBnBs.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is parking, but space is limited. We'd encourage using Uber.

Question

Will you have a space for nursing mothers?

Answer

Yes! We have a private suite available for nursing mothers. Just please let us know in advance so we can give your name to security.
