We would like to personally welcome you to Antigua, Guatemala!! We will be hosting a Welcome Party for our guests to meet each other, have some cocktails, try delicious local Guatemalan food, and share some laughs! This will be the official start of our wedding weekend and we are excited to see you all there!
Dressy Casual Attire! Although some of our guests may still be arriving to Antigua and getting settled, we suggest wearing something that elevates casual but is also something you will be comfortable in. The ancient streets of Antigua are paved with large cobble stones and have a lot of uneven surfaces, so you might want to rethink wearing your stiletto's.

On the night before our wedding, we will be hosting a dinner for the wedding party. Immediately following the dinner, we will be opening this event to our guests who have traveled this far to celebrate this exciting event in our lives! The Rehearsal Dinner will take place at Clio's in downtown Antigua at 6:00pm - 8:00pm. The plan is to enjoy the city by exploring nearby bars and clubs afterward.

The dress code will be cocktail attire.
After the Rehearsal Dinner, at 8:00pm we will have all guests come for appetizers and drinks! Since we have guests staying all over this beautiful city, we will not be providing transportation to the dinner. However, Uber's, taxi cabs, and tuk tuks are plentiful throughout the city! We also highly encourage walking (depending on where you are staying), Antigua is not too big of a city and is fairly walkable, again depending on where you are staying. Walking the streets of Antigua is a great opportunity to see & experience life in this city!

WE'RE GETTING MARRIED!!! Our Wedding Ceremony will be held in the gardens within the Ruins of Convento de las Capuchinas. We found our own little slice of paradise and intend to have the time of our lives exchanging vows with the beautiful views provided by this amazing city and tropical surrounds. Following the ceremony, there will be a cocktail hour where hors d'oeuvres will be served.
Semi-Formal Beachy Attire This suggests a classic, yet elegant, wedding with an elevated laid-back beachy twist, so dress to impress! In general, you can expect to wear nice light, airy, and breathable fabrics. Semi-Formal Beachy attire is similar to what you might wear at a nice beach resort or to a nice dinner in the summer season. Ladies Elegant maxi or midi dresses, long flowy skirts, nice heels, wedges, or sandals, etc. You may also want to bring a lightweight wrap or scarf in case it cools off after the sun goes down. Again, the streets are paved with large ancient cobble stones so pack your comfiest heels, wedges, or sandals and maybe leave the stilettos behind. Gents An elegant suit, nice button-down shirt with blazer, and nice slacks/pants. The weather in Antigua is beautiful during this time and will be in the mid to high 70’s but might be slightly cooler at night.

Immediately following the ceremony, we have arranged for a cocktail hour that will be located adjacent to the gardens in the Ruins of Convento de las Capuchinas at the Small Circular Atrium. It is a unique architectural feature of the convent, designed as a two-story circular space with individual small cells or rooms radiating outward. These were believed to be used for meditation, prayer, or housing for the nuns. The circular cloister is considered one of the most iconic and photographed parts of the Capuchinas convent, showcasing the ingenuity of colonial architecture. Specialty cocktails and a variety of unique & delicious hors d'oeuvres will be served for our guests. As a special feature we will have a Live market with drinks and a Pupusa Station for guests to enjoy.

LET’S PARTY!! After the cocktail hour, it’s time to party! The Reception will take place in the stunning great hall, that was once a grand basilica, where we will eat, drink, and dance the night away in one of the most gorgeous places we’ve come to love. 11:00 am Shuttles available to take guests from Wedding Reception to respective Hotels/Airb&b for those that need a ride.
