The ceremony starts at 4pm at St George Orthodox Christian Church. We recommend you arrive at least 15-20 minutes earlier so that you can make sure you are not walking in once the ceremony has begun.
The Bride and Groom would prefer if you would refrain from taking photos during the ceremony, as we have a professional photographer who will take care of this. However, during the reception we strongly encourage you to take and share photos using our QR code you will find at your tables.
Yes! Our church ceremony will be live streamed for those who are unable to make it. You can watch the livestream here: https://youtube.com/live/UqS9CAq1Hck?feature=share

For the women, semi-formal or formal attire is appropriate. However, dresses should be knee-length or lower. Female wedding guests DO NOT wear white =). It is asked that shoulders are covered. The look is modest. A head covering is optional as well!
For the ceremony parking is both ample and self explanatory. Just throw the address in Google Maps and you’ll see the parking lot right in front of the building. For the reception parking is also ample, though less self explanatory. Across the street from the venue there is a Chase bank where you can park. To the left of the bank there are more uncovered parking spaces you’re free to use, and to the left of that there is a huge parking garage which you can also use. Take your pick!
Yes! Although responsible drinking is encouraged. So if you drink make sure you have a designated sober driver, an Uber, or are staying a walkable distance from the reception venue. And as previously mentioned, please don’t step outside while consuming alcohol, this will violate our venues rules.
Yes! Around 7:30pm dinner will be served! Get yourself a snack before the reception if you need it!
An Orthodox Christian wedding is a deeply sacred, religious service which is considered a Sacrament. The service unites a man and a woman in eternal love and faith. Instead of exchanging personal vows, the couple receives God’s grace to become one, serving as an earthly icon of Christ’s union with His Church. The ceremony is conducted by a priest and is rich in symbolism, generally lasting about 45 to 60 minutes.
In the Orthodox tradition, a Sponsor is a trusted friend or family member chosen to spiritually support the couple in marriage. During the wedding ceremony, they participate in several important parts of the service and symbolize the community surrounding and supporting the new marriage.
St George Airport is the closest one (although it can be pricey!). If convenience is your best friend then this is the one for you! Alternatively, you can fly into Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas, and either rent a vehicle or take the St George shuttle to St George. This is about a 2 hour drive and you can check out the shuttle options here: https://www.stgshuttle.com
HOT! The typical tempeture for St George in July is around 100°F. Don't worry, both the ceremony and the reception will be indoors with AC to help fight the heat. If you are staying for a few days we recommend that you pack for a lovely, hot summer trip!
