4:00 pm - 5:00 pm
It's a wedding! Semi-formal or formal attire!
Our wedding ceremony will be held at Saint George Orthodox Church and will begin promptly at 4:00 PM. We kindly ask that guests arrive early, as our priest keeps a very punctual schedule. If you have never attended an Orthodox wedding before, please note that the ceremony will last approximately one hour and includes several beautiful traditions. Some guests may stand during portions of the service, as is customary in Orthodox worship; however, seating will be available throughout the ceremony and all guests are welcome to sit whenever they feel comfortable. The ceremony is open to all members of the church congregation and invited guests. The reception is by invitation only and will be held at a separate location. Please silence and put away all phones during the ceremony. Photography and videography are reserved for our professionals unless prior approval has been given by the bride or groom.
6:00 pm - 11:00 pm
The reception will begin with cocktail hour at 6:00 PM. Guests are welcome to arrive, grab a drink, mingle, and settle in before the Bride and Groom arrive. Please note that dinner will not be served until approximately 7:30 PM. If you think you may need a snack beforehand, we encourage you to grab something during the afternoon. A quick venue note: drinking is encouraged, but alcohol must remain inside the building at all times. Please do not take alcoholic beverages outside, as doing so could cause issues with the venue and its licensing requirements. #UtahIsStrange Following dinner, we'll enjoy toasts, cake, dancing, and plenty of celebration before ending the evening with a grand send-off around 10:30 PM. We can't wait to celebrate with you!
